This beautiful home is situated on a chain of 4 lakes, offering guests an abundance of water activities such as boating, fishing, kayaking, and more. Experience the ultimate getaway at the Hiawatha Snow'd Inn, located in the heart of the Great Lakes Region. Our prime location provides easy access to an array of outdoor activities, making it the perfect destination for nature lovers, adventure seekers, and winter sports enthusiasts.
With an average winter snowfall of 152 inches per year, this area is a winter wonderland, offering an array of winter activities such as snowmobiling, ice climbing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and fat-tire biking. We are conveniently located off Trail 7 and are surrounded by popular snowmobile trails, ice climbing and skiing trails near Munising, and the annual Ice Fest event. The Eben Ice Cave is a must-visit winter attraction.
As the seasons change, so do the activities, with Spring, Summer, and Fall offering an abundance of opportunities for ATV/UTV riding, camping, dirt biking, fishing, hiking, kayaking, and waterfall exploring. Our location on the Corners-Straits chain of lakes, specifically Skeels Lake, provides ample opportunities for fishing, kayaking, and boating, with the boat launch just 1 mile away. The ATV/UTV trails and Moss Lake dirt biking track are easily accessible, and annual passes can be purchased from MI DNR or local retail establishments.
